Tour Overview

The 8-Day Great Migration & Serengeti Sectors Safari is the definitive wilderness expedition designed specifically by Haradali’s wildlife specialists. This expedition takes you deep into the four ecological sectors of the Serengeti ecosystem: from the southern Ndutu calving plains to the predator-dense Seronera River valley, the Western Grumeti River corridor, and the dramatic Mara River crossing country of Kogatende.

Travel in high-spec, private 4x4 safari Land Cruisers with pop-up photography roofs, guided by senior wilderness driver-guides with decades of migration-tracking expertise.

Comprehensive 4-Sector Serengeti Expedition

This 8-day safari is uniquely crafted to navigate all four ecological sectors of the Serengeti:

  • 1. Southern Ndutu Plains: Calving season epicenter, open savannah cheetah chases, and Lake Ndutu birdlife.
  • 2. Central Seronera Valley: Predator capital with resident leopard trees, lion prides, and Moru Kopjes black rhinos.
  • 3. Western Corridor: Grumeti River crocodile crossings and lush riverine forests housing colobus monkeys.
  • 4. Northern Kogatende: High-drama Mara River crossings, rolling granite ridges, and uncrowded wilderness.

The Great Migration Calendar & Seasonal Tracking

Our senior safari driver-guides track real-time satellite herd coordinates to position your game drives right where the herds congregate:

  • January – March: Focuses heavily on the Ndutu sector for the Great Calving Season.
  • May – July: Focuses on the Western Corridor for Grumeti River crossings.
  • July – October: Extends time in Kogatende for the iconic Mara River crossings.
  • November – December: Tracks the herds traversing Seronera southward.

Included Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari & Champagne Breakfast

Experience the vastness of the Serengeti from above. On Day 7, take off at dawn as the sun rises over the savannah, floating quietly over wildlife trails. Upon touchdown, indulge in an open-air champagne bush breakfast prepared by private bush chefs.
